What issues should I consider before agreeing to share a space with another business?
Q. I currently own a dance studio which I have been looking to move into a new building. Another business owner contacted me about possibly sharing a large space and splitting rent. We would both have our names on the lease for the new space, but we would use the space communally. There is a large studio and a small studio in the new space, and we've been able to agree on scheduling for those areas. What legal issues do I need to consider before agreeing to this? I want our businesses to stay very separate, but I want our business relationship to be mutually beneficial.

A. Don't let the person who owns the business hide behind a Corporation title. Have the actual person who owns it sign a letter of "personal guarantee" for the rent money. It means he is locked in and even if he goes chap 7 or his company goes chap 13 you get paid for the rent. If you don't do this, he could just walk away and say "Sorry, I am bankrupt". Now when he says that with the PG, you say, "Sorry to hear that, but I will take your house to get the rent". You can with a personal G.

What issues might a man whose mother was a paranoid schizophrenic have?
Q. My husand demonstrates a lot of paranoid behavior. His mother was a schizophrenic paranoid but my husband is definitely not schizophrenic. So, my question is could his mother's issues be handed down and maniast themselves differently?

Yes...trusting people seems to be an issue of children who had paranoid/SX parents; dealing with problems illogically, or coldly...SX has a genetic component, usually skipping a generation, so even though he does not manifest the SX diagnosis he has learned how to deal with one, out of survival. A. Well a good start would be to stop all the petty wars that are going on around the Globe. Some Countries never seem to stop fighting, and killing most of their own people as well. Words are better than Wars but it seems that they really do not know what that means. Lets face it they would fight over an inch of Land if they thought it was theirs, and then escalate it into a major war involving all of us. All these Wars lead to the poverty of people involved, and housing they live in no longer stand there., so these people suffer all the time and never have a life of their own.
